La regla graduada

Es muy empleada por los niños en las escuelas, en algunos oficios como la arquitectura y para la realización de manualidades varias. Al contrario de la regla haya, la Faibo esté revestida por sus bordes y aunque también es de madera, su color es casi siempre claro con sus medidas en negro. Sus dimensiones varían entre los 40 y 50 cm, aunque no debe de medir más de 60 cm.

Reglas graduadas para dibujo técnico

Para el dibujo técnico se emplean reglas graduadas de mayor precisión. El material que se utiliza es el plástico transparente, de esta forma el dibujo tiene una mayor calidad y exactitud.

Reglas de acero

Se emplean principalmente en la carpintería, en el bricolaje, algunas manualidades. Las caracteriza su durabilidad y firmeza.

Regla graduada en cm y pulgadas

La regla graduada en ambas mediciones: centímetros y pulgadas, facilita mucho el trabajo a la hora de realizar cualquier dibujo básico o directamente para medir y cortar. Para un mejor acabado, te aconsejo que utilices las reglas con sus mediciones en relieve y resaltada con impresión, de esta forma logras medir y cortar con más precisión.

Reglas de aluminio

Las reglas de aluminio son también muy resistentes y se pueden utilizar para realizar algunos cortes, sirviendo así de guía.

Regla de corte recubierta

Este tipo de regla es empleada en la carpintería y otros oficios y se usa para medir y cortar objetos con gran precisión. El revestimiento que tiene en sus bordes impide que se dañe la superficie al realizar estas operaciones. Además posee un engomado especial en su superficie inferior lo que permite que la regla no se mueva de su sitio a la hora de utilizarla.

Las reglas de escritorio son las más conocidas y usadas en el mundo entero. Pueden ser de cualquier tipo de material. Su dimensión oscila entre los 20 y 30 cm aproximadamente. No suelen ser muy grandes ya que son de un tamaño óptimo y bastante práctico.

Reglas plegables

Dentro de la clasificación de reglas graduadas, las reglas plegables son unas de las menos precisas, diría yo, que muy poco confiables. Como su nombre lo indica, consta de tres o más pliegues que se alargan o acortan de acuerdo a la necesidad del portador. Pueden llegar a medir 1 metro y medio y se distinguen de las demás en que si las doblas puedes optimizar el espacio.

Cinta de medición

La cinta de medición cumple los mismos principios de las reglas plegables, pero con la diferencia de que en vez de plegables emplea un rollo. Los rollos envuelven y desenvuelven la cinta muy rápidamente de acuerdo a tus necesidades.

Se fabrican en su mayoría, de metal para hacerlas más resistentes y las recubren con una capa de acrílico o nylon especial en donde se encuentran las medidas. Su extensión varía desde 2 a 3 metros. ¡Imagina tener una regla plana de ese tamaño! Es por eso que este invento revolucionó el mundo, así puedes guardar más en menos espacio.

  •       Realizar mediciones con una mayor precisión y con escasos grados de error.

Modo de empleo de la regla graduada para evitar su deterioro

La regla como ya pudimos apreciar, es una herramienta que a pesar de los grandes avances que ha dado la tecnología, no se ha sustituido de los medios básicos. Es por esto que se ha convertido en un instrumento vital para los estudios, desde los primarios hasta los universitarios. Para conservar tus reglas y evitar su deterioro debes seguir los siguientes consejos:

  •       Mantenlas lejos del calor o del fuego, sobre todo si son de plástico o de acrílico.
  •       Evita las rozaduras de las reglas con las mediciones en relieve para que no se desgaste los números.
  •       No las expongas prolongado tiempo al sol, ya que puede llegar a opacar su color y su textura se puede deteriorar.
  •       Si usaste algún marcador permanente, debes limpiar la superficie de la regla con alcohol al 90 para que no se quede manchada para siempre.
  •       Evita las caídas, para las reglas de plástico puede ser fatal.
  •       Guarda tus reglas en lugares seguros, así evitas que se rayen pues esto dificulta su uso.
