El consumo de energía eólica en España llegó a el 19% en el año anterior. Este es el apunte que se desprende del estudio de la Organización Empresarial Eólica (AEE), la cual ha encriptado en 392 el número de megavatios (MW) de capacidad instalados en 2018 y en 23.484 MW el total nacional.
Por comunidades, Canarias instaló 190 MW en sus parques eólicos, seguida de Aragón con 90 MW, Galicia con 68, Andalucía con 30, Castilla La Mancha con 10,32 y 2,35 en Cataluña. Estas cantidades se traducen en 48.903 GW generados con la energía eólica en el pasado curso.
Los altos índices de consumo eólico derivan en parte importante del encontronazo de las reglas de transición energética y el incremento de parques eólicos. En la actualidad, España tiene 1.122 espacios de esta clase en 807 municipios, los cuales tienen 20.306 aerogeneradores. Además, a la industria se suman los 207 centros industriales presentes en 16 de las 17 comunidades autónomas.
¿Cuánto se ahorra por tener energía eólica?
El área eólico brinda ya el 0,31% del Producto Interno Bruto español, cifra que equivale a 3.394 millones de euros. Los clientes industriales que apostaron por la misma ahorraron 3.540 euros. A nivel de exportación, esta industria factura por valor de 2.391 millones de euros.
En relación a la red social autónoma, Castilla La Mancha es la que tiene los índices más altos a nivel de capacidad, “con una cobertura de la demanda eléctrica del 78%”, según la información de Europa Press. Por lo tanto, Madrid, Ceuta, Melilla, Baleares y Andalucía alcanzan las cotas más bajas.
Con estos datos, España se coloca en el puesto número cinco del top de capacidad instalada en todo el mundo, por detrás de potencias como China, USA, Alemania e India respectivamente.
¿Cuáles son los resultados positivos de la energía eólica?
El objetivo último del área en territorio nacional pasa porque se ponga en marcha antes de marzo de 2020 la capacidad eléctrica de las subastas de 2016 y 2017, aseguran desde la Organización Empresarial Eólica (AEE). Esto se traducirá en los próximos beneficios:
Mantenimiento de la industria: Esta clase de energía renovable, como bien se comentó, es un motor barato para España.
Generación de puestos de trabajo: En la actualidad, los profesionales estiman que 22.578 personas trabajan en el área eólico en el país. De llevar a cabo efectivo este fomento, las cantidades podrían incrementar de manera significativa en los siguientes años.
Reducción de las emisiones de gases contaminantes. El potencial de la eólica piensa la reducción del uso de fuentes no naturales de generación de energía. Esta potenciación ayuda a la conservación del medio ambiente y de la cubierta de ozono, además de que aminora el calentamiento global.
Potenciación del avance popular y barato de zonas despobladas. Los parques eólicos tienen la posibilidad de contribuir a la reactivación de estos espacios vacíos.
